For this entry in 4160 Tuesdays’ Crimes of Passion project, perfumer Sarah McCartney was inspired by the ravishingly full-bodied fruity chypres of the early 1900s, scents like Paul Poiret’s Fruits Defendus and Shocking by Schiaparelli. And Goddess of Love & Perfume lives up the the inspiration, delivering a mouthwateringly complex fruit bouquet with an impressively vintage feeling musky drydown.
